Created in 1929, this poster was commissioned to promote St. Moritz as a summer destination, highlighting its appeal beyond the well-known winter season. At the time, St. Moritz was renowned for its winter sports, but efforts were underway to attract visitors year-round.
Hugo Laubi (1888–1959) was a Swiss illustrator, painter, and graphic artist born in Zurich. He studied in Munich and Paris, and worked as a graphic artist in London in 1911. In 1918, he became the director of the printing and lithography company Gebr. Fretz in Zurich, while also working as a freelance graphic artist.

Natural Pine Frames
Our wooden poster frames are made from durable natural pine wood and come ready to hang. The frames measure 23mm thick by 12mm wide and feature art-quality, shatterproof plexiglass to ensure safe shipping (no glass). Remember to peel off the protective film before you hang!
